Sometimes even Pandas wonder 'Why is bamboo hollow?'
This week's Illustration Friday topic was so hard! I immediately thought of a tree hollow and wanted to draw an owl in a dark forest. However after looking through the link viewer I saw so many variations of this and I wanted to do something a tad more original. Suddenly the idea of bamboo came to me and I went with it!
Also a big thank you for all the lovely comments on my first illustration from last week, it's nice to have such positive and like minded people being so encouraging :)
Time taken - 2 hours approx.
Sketched in pencil and coloured in Photoshop
Nice job on the panda!
ReplyDeleteYou can get rid of that border by editing the HTML in your blog template...
In your Dashbord, click the "Layout" link. In the Layout tab, click the "Edit HTML" link.
Scroll down a bit until you see:
/* Posts
---------------
Under that heading, scroll down until you see:
.post img
under that, change the "border:" attribute to "0px".
Hope that helps!

ReplyDeleteAw....Very cute! His curled in feet make it ever more charming as does his intense concentration on something as benign as a simple bamboo shoot. Great job! Love it!
