Phew... We're over half way there guys! Todays is a slightly quicker one. I have to admit I'm getting a bit of mermaid fatigue... This is by farrr the furthest i've ever got through an art challenge though so I've gotta keep going!

Mermay 13, "Maid". This is the first time I've ever revisited old artwork, this mermay is based on a mermaid I did last year. I might do more of these! It's really exciting to see some improvement!

Just a quickie today! 'Non- Traditional'. I went for a kind of centauresque mermaid, based on the (adorable) axolotl.

I had to decide whether to go for 'wicked' as in 'evil' or as in the broadway show! I went for the evil option, which is out of my cute, colourful and friendly comfort zone! This is Joan, proving at not all mermaids have to be beautiful sirens.
